Company Secretary
The obligations of Company Directors are set out in the 1300 pages of the Companies Act 2006. It is assumed that all Directors have read and fully understand their obligations! The Act covers a multitude of issues including the requirement for specific information to be displayed at company premises, upon letterheads and stationery.
Certain documents in addition to Limited Company accounts need to be filed at Companies House within stringent timeframes. Fines imposed for late filing of documents during the 2008/09 tax year amounted to £84M.
